Company profile:

Pocket Virtuality

Pocket Virtuality is a privately owned Czech start-up focused on the development of sophisticated systems for VR/AR. primarily focusing on client – server apps in engineering and medicine.

Co-founders of the company are veterans of the gaming industry with 15 years of experience in the field of simulation, computer graphics and mobile marketing.

OUR PROJECT:

HOLO OBSERVER

HoloObserver is an application that shows the same augmented 3D model on a real object, model or environment even to multiple participants at the same time. It automatically aligns augmented model to corresponding physical representation. It has a guide – visitor mode.

OUR PROJECT:
FATA MORGANA

Fata Morgana is a system for creating 3D environments in real-time and simultaneous streaming to remote virtual reality system, this technology enables virtual user cooperation in physical environment. This is R&D project. If you are interested in cooperation or investment please contact us.

TECHNOLOGY

We develop VR/AR apps for following platforms:

MICROSOFT
HOLOLENS

Microsoft Hololens  is a holographic computer built into a headset that lets you see, hear, and interact with holograms within an environment such as a living room or an office space.

It is the most advanced device for displaying virtual reality and augmented reality and combining them into so called mixed reality. Therefore is offers the most options for ground breaking real world applications.

HTC VIVE

HTC Vive is a high-end virtual reality headset, designed to utilize “room scale” technology to turn a room into 3D space via sensors, with the virtual world allowing the user to navigate naturally, with the ability to walk around and use motion tracked handheld controllers to vividly manipulate objects, interact with precision, communicate and experience immersive environments

SAMSUNG GEAR VR

Samsung Gear VR, mobile virtual reality headset developed by Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Oculus. When in use, a compatible Samsung Galaxy device (Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+, or Galaxy S7/S7 Edge) acts as the headset’s display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself acts as the controller, which contains the high field of view, as well as a custom inertial measurement unit, or IMU, for rotational tracking, which connects to the smartphone via micro-USB. The Gear VR headset also includes a touchpad and back button on the side, as well as a proximity sensor to detect when the headset is on.

ABOUT
VIRTUAL REALITY

Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.

ABOUT AR / MR

Augmented reality (AR) is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input.

Mixed reality (MR), sometimes referred to as hybrid reality, is the merging of real and virtual worlds to produce new environments and visualizations where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real time. Mixed reality takes place not only in the physical world or the virtual world, but is a mix of reality and virtual reality, encompassing both augmented reality and augmented virtuality
